ABOUT CHRISTOPHER BUTTIĠIEĠ
Christopher Buttigieg is a creative industry entrepreneur who produces unique and participatory cross art-form work in the arts and cultural sector. Based in London and remotely working on a number of projects based in Edinburgh and Malta.
Christopher founded Hello Creative, which offers creative producing, project management and media expertise. Prior, Christopher worked on various films and festivals of varying scale which allow communities to engage with different artistic platforms, storytelling and cultural events. He brings innovative ideas, analytical thinking, end-to-end management, artistic proficiency and leadership across a wide range of contexts in the creative industry.
Recently, he has joined the BRC Imagination Arts bandwagon. He has played a key role on established cultural festivals, including the St Magnus International Festival in Orkney, Scotland and the ZiguZajg International Children’s Festival in Malta. He also played key roles in universally acclaimed TV series ‘Game of Thrones’ and Paramount Pictures’ production ‘13Hours’.
He managed a two year award winning TV Series in Malta, and produced documentaries and short films. He served as the first point of contact with stakeholders for planning and vision setting, and managing the client expectations. Christopher also spent 6 years directing Kiddo Entertainment, which he founded back in 2011. Kiddo Entertainment created and tailored leisure activities for children and young people.
Christopher earned a Masters degree in Arts, Culture and Festival Management at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, securing a Merit classification, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology.
